TAGDES-HESM

TAGDES-HESM

HESM from TAGDES is a hall effect sensor-based bellows scale, that measures pressure or temperature by using a bellows that expands or contracts, which in turn, moves a magnetic assembly that varies the magnetic field detected by the hall effect sensor, generating an electrical signal proportional to the physical parameter.

Applications Pressure and Temperature measurement in Accumulator of Hydraulic cooling systems
How it works
  • A bellows, which is a flexible, corrugated diaphragm, is used to sense pressure or temperature changes.
  • A magnet is attached to the bellows, and as the bellows expands or contracts due to changes in pressure or temperature, the magnet moves in or out from a hall effect sensor.
  • The hall effect sensor detects the movement of the magnetic field and produces an output voltage proportional to the magnetic field strength
  • This output voltage is then calibrated to provide a reading of the pressure or temperature.
Pressure Measurement
  • Pressure applied to the bellows causes it to deform, which moves the attached magnet relative to the hall effect sensor.
  • The sensor then detects the change in magnetic field strength and produces an output voltage that is proportional to the pressure applied.
Temperature Measurement
  • A sealed bellows containing a gas with known thermal expansion properties is used.
  • When the temperature changes, the gas inside the bellows expands or contracts, which in turn moves the attached magnet.
  • The hall effect sensor then measures the change in magnetic field and produces an output voltage proportional to the temperature.
End Applications
  • Pressure Measurement: In industrial settings, measuring pressure in pipelines, tanks, and other equipment
  • Temperature Measurement: In industrial processes, monitoring temperature in ovens, boilers, and other equipment.
